Mike Seidel joined The Weather Channel in 1992 and is often associated with his live reports from breaking weather. He's covered more than 50 tropical storms and hurricanes and numerous snow and ice storms.
Mike has reported from 36 states. Highlights include reporting live from the eye of Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and covering a lake-effect storm that piled up 10 feet of snow over one week in western NY in 2007. Mike holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Salisbury State College with a double major in Math and Geography, and he earned his M.S. in Meteorology from The Pennsylvania State University. |
