Fall Photo Fashions This time of year, do you find yourself favoring fall fashions? You know, sweaters and turtlenecks and raincoats and yes, Halloween costumes. There’s just something about fall clothes that screams, “summer’s over!” The crisp, cool air just doesn’t work with flip flops. And speaking of flip … wouldn’t it be fun to flip through old photos to find fall fashions throughout the years?! Believe it or not, there was a time when photographs were always developed from film and printed out! Seriously, ask an adult at home. Also ask them if you can look through those “old fashioned” pictures that are still around. Maybe they’re in photo albums or shoeboxes, or maybe they’re in piles in the back of a closet. Now, look through the photos and try to figure out which ones were taken in fall. A lot of them will have dates on the back of the picture, but don’t cheat! Instead, look at what people are wearing in the pictures and see if you can tell when they were taken. That’s a fun challenge, but what’s really fun is to go through the pictures and see how fall fashions have changed over the years. Some might be so funny that you fall down laughing! |
